COLUMBUS, OH (DECEMBER 23, 2019) – The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) has signed a new multi-year partnership with Teall Properties Group (TPG), a multimedia and marketing management company for high schools, as the exclusive agent for strategic business partnerships and athletic sponsorships rights.
Under the partnership, TPG will work with the OHSAA to develop business relationships to benefit the Association, and in turn its member schools. TPG also will represent the OHSAA in negotiations for opportunities related to the regional and national recognition of the OHSAA championships and student-athletes across its 26 sports.
“Growing up in Oxford, Ohio and playing at Talawanda High School in the OHSAA, I am excited about this partnership,” said TPG CEO Mike Wolfert. “The OHSAA is one of the largest state associations in the country, and we can’t wait to grow its brand and revenues so that the OHSAA can continue to improve upon the student-athlete experience that is shaping the next generation of leaders in Ohio. .”
“The OHSAA is committed to providing great opportunities for student-athletes. Partnerships and sponsorships greatly enhance these opportunities while assisting with tremendous resources for our schools.” said OHSAA Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass. “We are excited about this professional partnership with TPG to take this to the next level and ultimately benefit the thousands of student-athletes we serve.”
OHSAA joins a group of seven properties associated with TPG, including the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC), the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL), the South Carolina High School League (SCHSL), the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA), Rhode Island Interscholastic League (RIIL) and the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA).
